I'm Baaaaack! - Sep. 7

I was listening to the radio today to Adrian Rogers and you want to know what his message was? It was always give thanks to the Lord, regardless of circumstance. Well, it took me six days to get my collective s*** together but nevertheless, here I am. I believe some scripture is in order here first:

The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. (Genesis 12:1)

I certainly do feel a bit like old Abe, leaving the parental clutches and my comfort zone to go and glorify God. No-one ever said that walking by faith was going to be a cake-walk.

As it is rather late in the day, I'm only going with a small post to start. Hopefully I'll have more time tomorrow to do a proper post. In the meantime, I've got some interesting stuff to share with you.

Is British PM Tony Blair in a free-fall or what? I wish politicians would realize when it's time to leave and just do so. Pro athletes tend to suffer from the same illusions of grandeur.

It appears that the Israeli navy is easing it's blockade of Lebanon. While signs of normality return to Lebanon, things are still far from OK.

So if you're a soldier and you were given a choice, would you rather go to Iraq or Afghanistan? It may surprise you that you'd probably be a little safer in Iraq.

Speaking of Iraq, American forces are turning over their powers to Iraqi forces. Good luck to the Iraqis. They'll need every bit of it.

Lastly a cool picture gallery of coalition troops doing their thing amongst the rugged beauty of Afghanistan.

I really can't say it will make much difference getting rid of Blair, apart from the fact that the party may well move back more towards the left. Since Blairs parents where Tory and his new labour revamp was about creating a party that lent towards the right.
The one good thing that labour admittedly has done was the return to a minimum wage, since Thatcher did away with it, in favour of slave labour, 'you pay peanuts you get monkeys' she defecated all over the working class, in the name of her vile 'greed is good policies' that her and her other half, the class 'B' actor Reagan embraced state side.
The fact of the matter is JC my old buddy, swapping and changing faces or parties will make not one jot of a difference, so long as they continue with the political correct ethos and dictate that we have to accept and respect Islam.
