Tie Domi Is A Cad - Sep 26

While I love all those 'love' verses such as John 3:16, you come across some verses that really challenge your view of Christianity and the person of Jesus Christ. This scripture should probably been in the previous post but I decided to do it now:

(Jesus speaking)
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (Mt 10:34-35)

Strange, is it not? Well not really if you think about it. While the UN tries to pick Kofi Annan's successor, it appears that the wars and conflicts that we see today involve religion. The million dollar question is, "Whom is this person who we call Jesus Christ?". See where I'm going with this? This world is in the trouble that it is in because it rejects Jesus as the true Prince of Peace. Has this world known any kind of peace for any extended period (10+ years) without some major war breaking out in my lifetime? The nations of this world spends $1.4 trillion dollars annually on arms sales for crying out loud! Many of these are highly advanced, and probably top secret to boot. Bottom line is, the UN is hopelessly myopic, who see it easier to blame Canada and it's allies for the world's troubles than face the hard truth of false religion lead by false gods. In France, the decision has been made to turn a blind eye to it's foolish policy of allowing hordes of hostile Muslims to settle in it's country. I mean, why bother facing the truth when you don't have to? We have only ourselves to blame for this mess, not God.

It seems that Egypt and Syria, who are supposed to be 'partners' with the U.S.-led War On Terror are not as benign as they appear to be. While Egypt stifles free speech concerning Islam's true nature, Syria is making a less than genuine peace overture with Israel. Add to the fact that the Russians (who are the biggest arms dealers in the ME btw) are on some massive military exercise involving their long-range bombers and you get the idea that Israel is being encircled. I just hope that Bush and Condi realize this and see the traitors in the midst and act appropiately.

Hold on. I've got five more links and then we're done.

It's true, it's true, Tie Domi, a long time Leaf enforcer is now a bona-fide cheat and liar. I mean just look at him. He's butt ugly. Yet he managed to sleep with Belinda Stronach, Tia Carrere and still have a hot wife to boot. Oh Tie you cad, you're gonna pay big time my friend, BIG TIME!

Speaking of Canadian athletes who made some dumb choices in their life, it was on this day in 1988 that Ben Johnson was caught red-handed in a steroid scandal and sent home in disgrace. For those of us living in Southern Ontario, have you seen Ben with Frank D'Angelo in that 'Cheetah' drink commercial? It is quite possibly the worst commercial I've ever seen, hands down.

Check out this hammerhead's attempt to threaten Robert Spencer and "Huge" Fitzgerald of Jihad Watch. Not only are these guys stupid, they're really bad spellers as well.

I have two picture galleries to close out this post. The first is a 'gallery of the week' from the CBC and the second is a heartwarmer from Gospel for Asia in India.

Read the threats to Huge and co yesterday, brilliant stuff!
Allways find the gospel for asia encouraging, we share a spiritual common ground with India, good to have them on side if possible.
